Cyber security in the trenches and across borders

We all know that the financial industry remains a top target for criminals, this has not changed. Only one thing has changed; bank robbers have turned their masks and weapons in for coding skills. Cyber-attacks are growing in number, size and sophistication. Among the dangerous weapons of choice are DDos attacks, Malware, Spyware, Phishing, just to name a few. But that’s not the only danger to be found. Also, the increased interconnectedness in the industry has generated multiple points of entry (cloud, mobile, IoT and artificial intelligence) which could turn out to be potential Achilles’ heels. With enough ammunition at their disposal, hackers have also more reasons to breach the walls of the financial system. Not only for money or personal data, but geopolitical factors are at the root of attack vectors. What does best practice and innovation look like in intelligence sharing? How can multiple stakeholders work together and embrace the tools, technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the bad guys?
