Technology plays an increasingly fundamental role in financial services and is a catalyst for change and innovation. Technology is also a powerful shaper of financial regulation – making regulation more efficient and compliance simpler. At this session, Nick Cook, Head of RegTech and Advanced Analytics will outline the FCA’s approach to fostering industry adoption of RegTech solutions and their key priorities for the year ahead. Nick will talk about the trends in AI & ML technology that the FCA are seeing, and will discuss last month’s AML & Financial Crime international TechSprint.
