His career primarily took place in information security with a deep focus on risk governance, starting with university researches, progressing in IBM Italy consulting services, where he had responsibilities for project and business goals achievement, staying steady in Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group where actually he’s in charge of the Group Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) and of the governance of the external stakeholders. He’s also experienced in business development and resource development.

He’s daily asked to balance the more traditional and technological aspects of IT security with business priorities making the Group Entities to be resilient through threat intelligence, security events evaluation, security incident & crisis management and program security actions verification. Moreover, he’s in charge to enrich the SOC tech-professional analysis with a process-driven approach to design the overall risk scenario to be responded in a case of a cyber incident.

In accordance with a specific Corporate Board requirement he’s acting to develop – both on the local and the European level - awareness and collaboration on cybersecurity topics inside the financial sector and cross industry and with Regulators and Institution too.
