Darren Foulds is Managing Director for Mobile Payments at Barclays Bank. In his role, Darren is responsible for building out the Mobile Payments business, overseeing business and commercial strategy, partnerships and defining the customer experience for the Mobile Payments products and propositions across Barclays UK.

The Mobile Payments Business in Barclays has been instrumental in delivering the industry leading Pingit, contactless payments in the UK, wearable payments and continues to ensure that Barclays is at the forefront of innovation in payments.

Prior to Mobile Payments Darren was responsible for initiating the mobile strategy and overseeing the development Barclays Mobile Banking.

Darren also serves as Global Board member and Chair of the EMEA Board for the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, a global trade body addressing issues affecting the broadening mobile ecosystem.
