Leda Glyptis is the Chief Innovation Officer for Qatar National Bank. Leda joined QNB, the largest bank in MENA, in January 2017 with responsibilities for employee-driven and market-led innovation strategy and execution. Prior to QNB, Leda served as a Director at business and technology consulting firm Sapient, focusing on digital transformation, emergent technology and changing value chains. This reflected the work she had been driving as head of EMEA Innovation at BNY Mellon for a number of years prior to Sapient. Leda built up the innovation programme in the region, catalyzing BNY’s own ecosystem internally as well as with clients and partners. Leda created BNY’s FinTech village, built a rapid prototyping innovation centre in London as well as running a series of successful innovation initiatives across businesses and geographies. Leda joined BNY Mellon from FinTech startup Great East London Software, where she served as head of services development.
