Duco van Lanschot (1988) is Head of Benelux at Stripe. Stripe handles billions of dollars every year for forward-thinking business around the world, from newly launched start-ups to Fortune 500 Companies (e.g., Amazon, Booking.com). Stripe was founded in 2010 and has received >$400mn in funding to date; investors include Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Peter Thiel and Elon Musk.
Prior to working at Stripe, Van Lanschot worked as a comedian, consultant at McKinsey&Company and Head of International at Blendle, an iTunes-like system for journalism. In 2015, Van Lanschot was the fastest Dutch man (ranked 45) in history of the Marathon des Sables 2015, a 248km self-sufficient race through the Moroccan Sahara Desert.
