Previously a frustrated SME Director holding £50M cash, with limited market options and receiving little in returns or tools from the high street banks, Felicia was inspired to found Akoni to address this problem. Felicia has significant experience in high-growth businesses and start-ups operating in the UK FCA regulated environment including Alexander Forbes, Media Services, Primary Group and Howden, and has launched a number of digital market platforms. She also has senior governance and board-level experience including finance and direct marketing to SMEs, corporates and Retail consumers, and as an FCA Approved Person / Controlled Function.

Felicia has a deep commitment to diversity and in addition to encouraging more women to drive business, believes strongly in the need for broader diversity across both financial services and technology. She is on the Foundation Board of TedxEuston, a TEDx event sharing inspiring ideas about Africa, and is passionate about education and venture philanthropy. Felicia holds an Executive MBA from London Business School (cum laude), a BCompt Honours Information systems and is a Chartered Accountant.

Felicia is included in the Innovate Finance Women in Fintech Powerlist 2017 and featured in The Banker and Forbes promoting the normalisation of female leadership.
