John Erik Setsaas has been working with identities for more than 20 years. He has in-depth knowledge in the areas of security and identities. His current role is Identity Architect at Signicat AS, working with identity assurance, authentication, electronic signatures and seals.

He has been presenting at numerous international conferences, like SAP TechEd, EEMA, ISSE, Kuppinger Cole (EiC, DFW and CIW), World eID and Cybersecurity, Trustech, BrightTalk, OIX, Oslo Trustech forum and more.

Before joining Signicat, John Erik worked as chief development architect for SAP Identity Management.

In addition, he has also worked as assistant professor at Buskerud University College, teaching Electronic Commerce, identity services and security.
