Johnny is currently Head of Digital Investments & Innovation at AIB Bank where he leads the Fintech investment and innovation strategy primarily across the Retail & Commercial banking franchise. Johnny joined AIB in 2012 and was previously Head of Technology, Media & Telecoms sector banking.

Before his move to banking, Johnny spent most of his career in public company M&A and family office investing having started his career as a management consultant with KPMG.

He holds an undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Masters in Business and postgraduate diploma in Law. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
