Ravi Kurani joined Earlybird in 2016 and is currently a Principal at the Munich office. He focuses on investments in Fintech and Blockchain and has been a Bitcoin investor since 2013. He is currently working with Earlybird's portfolio companies Shapeshift, Instamotion, and Tradico. Prior to joining Earlybird, Ravi was a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where he mainly worked in the financial services and private equity industry, and built an expertise in big data analysis. Before that, he gained practical experience, among others in consulting at Roland Berger, in Research & Development at Daimler AG, and as a research assistant for Thermodynamics at Braunschweig University of Technology. Ravi holds a B. Sc. in mechanical engineering & business (focus in automotive engineering) from Braunschweig University of Technology, as well as a Master of Engineering Management (focus in quantitative finance) from Duke University.
