PayTabs was established in 2014 by Saudi entrepreneur Abdulaziz Al Jouf.
The journey of revolutionizing online payments in the MENA region began after Abdulaziz faced issues with obtaining a payment gateway for one of his businesses. Instead of chasing acquiring banks, Abdulaziz then decided to build a simple and secure platform to help other SMEs. 
This ingenuity caught the attention of premier institutions in Saudi Arabia, and soon, PayTabs was officially under the wing of Saudi Aramco’s “Wa’ed”.
PayTabs has gained momentum as company that processes payments securely and efficiently. PayTabs offers B2B services to seamlessly ‘plug and play’ features on to client websites. It creates instant online stores using a tool known as API plugins and prides itself on offering readymade invoicing services for merchants and professionals.
PayTabs was conferred “Payment Solution of the Year” at the KSA Enterprise Agility Awards 2015. Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 and #1 ranking on Forbes Middle East's “50 Most Promising Saudi Start-ups 2016” are among PayTabs other accolades in the fintech industry.
